Letterbox puzzle consist of a grid that’s filled with letters. A hidden word is placed in the grid randomly. Then the other squares are filled with random characters. These random characters always have duplicates (or triplets) while the hidden word only has unique letters. By removing the duplicates and triplets, the hidden word will be revealed.

You can use your own word lists, control the noise characters, change the grid size and much more.

You can make the puzzle more lively, and possibly more complex, by using several fonts, in several colors.

Even the hardest, most complex puzzles can be solved by meticulously finding and crossing off all duplicate letters.

Easily create a letterbox puzzle book, or add letterbox puzzles to your activity books or mixed puzzle books, with this seemingly simple word puzzle. Or create a single puzzle matching a specific theme for your website or social media.

The bundle comes with the Time Saver add-on as well, allowing you to use multiple word lists, randomise word lists, and use advanced layout options for your puzzle book.

Ease of Use

You can create one single puzzle, or use a word list to create 5, 10 or 100’s of puzzles at once. By default a short word list is added as well, which is easy to overwrite.

You can change the font, add more fonts, change the colors, and all will be randomised when creating a puzzle. You can even create many different puzzles using the same word.

Optionally you can use the Time Saver to generate puzzles from many different word lists with a single mouse-click.

Like any Puzzle Maker Pro module, Letterbox will create the puzzles and solutions as image files (JPG or PNG) at 300 DPI on your computer. Puzzles will be generated really fast.
