Create puzzles that are ready to use
When you generate a puzzle in Puzzle Maker Pro, the result is not a draft or a preview.
Each puzzle is created as a complete, usable file that you can publish immediately or reuse in other projects. There is no separate export workflow required. The output is part of the creation process.
A consistent foundation for every puzzle
Every generated puzzle produces a bitmap file:
- JPG
- PNG
- or transparent PNG
A matching solution image is generated alongside it.
These files are created automatically and form the foundation for:
- puzzle books
- printables
- worksheets
- digital distribution
This means you can generate puzzles and use them directly, without rebuilding or reformatting them elsewhere.
More than a single output
A puzzle is not limited to one use.
You can:
- reuse the same puzzle across multiple products
- combine puzzles into themed sets
- build collections over time
- publish the same content in different formats
Instead of generating one-off results, you are building a set of reusable puzzle content.
Additional formats when they are needed
The standard image output covers most workflows.
Additional formats are available where they provide practical value. These vary by puzzle module and are extended over time.
Used when a single puzzle needs to be shared or distributed as a document.
Interactive PDF
Used when puzzles are intended to be completed digitally.
Our version works on all devices, including IPad. This limits the use of certain interactive features.
Puzzle Slides (PowerPoint / Google Slides)
Used for classroom environments or presentations where interaction is required.
Puzzle Slides output is generated in PowerPoint format, and easily converted into Google Slides.
JSON
Used when puzzle data needs to be integrated into other systems or applications.
Not every puzzle type supports every format.
Support varies by module, and formats are added progressively where they provide practical value.
The bitmap output remains the consistent baseline across all puzzle types.
Designed to avoid extra steps
In many workflows, generating a puzzle is only the beginning. The real work starts when you need to:
- export it in the right format
- prepare it for publishing
- adapt it for different uses
By generating complete outputs from the start, these steps are reduced or removed.
You can generate, review, and use your puzzles in the same workflow.
Flexibility without added complexity
Most users start with the standard image output:
- fast to generate
- easy to use
- sufficient for many use cases
As requirements grow, additional formats can be used where they add value.
This keeps the workflow simple at the start, without limiting what can be done later.
From individual puzzles to structured products
For many use cases, individual puzzles are enough.
When you want to create a complete product—such as a puzzle book or a structured collection—you can build on these puzzle outputs.
Puzzle Book Studio is designed for that step. It works with the puzzle images you have already generated and allows you to assemble them into a consistent, publish-ready product.

Why this matters
The difference is not just in how puzzles are generated, but in what you can do with them afterwards.
Because puzzles are created as usable outputs:
- you can publish immediately
- you can reuse existing work
- you can build larger products over time
- you avoid rebuilding puzzles in other tools
This becomes more valuable as your projects grow beyond a few individual puzzles.
