Your Pictures In, Puzzles Out, in Both Modules
Add your pictures, set the rows and columns, and click Create. Each module crops the picture to the grid, reads it cell by cell and writes every clue for you. The answer key comes from that same reading, so the picture in the back of the book is the picture in the grid.
Your solver deserves a fair puzzle, one they can finish without a lucky guess. Only uniquely solvable puzzles is on by default in both modules: each module checks every picture for exactly one solution, adjusting the grid by a row or column when that helps. Bold, simple pictures get there most reliably.
- Nonogram turns each picture into black and white. The Darkness threshold decides how dark a cell has to be to count as filled, so you can tune a photo until the silhouette is the one you meant.
- Color Nonogram turns each picture into color, either with the colors picked from the picture itself or with 2 to 8 colors you choose, so a whole book can share one palette.
- Grids from 10 by 10 to 90 by 90 in both, square or rectangular: a quick page for a younger solver or a long weekend solve.

Do I need a color interior?
For the color puzzles, yes: the clue numbers carry the colors, so Color Nonogram books print on a color interior. The black-and-white puzzles print on a standard black-and-white interior. Color interiors cost more to print, so color suits shorter gift and premium editions, while black and white carries the long volume book. With both modules, one set of pictures feeds both.
Can I use the same pictures in both?
Yes. Add the same pictures to both modules and you get a black-and-white set and a color set. High-contrast pictures work best in black and white; pictures with a few flat colors work best in color.
