- Codeword, the cipher crossword. Every white square holds a number from 1 to 26, the same number is always the same letter, and a few letters are given so the crack can begin.
- Word Fill, a crossword grid with no clues and the complete word list printed with it, grouped by length. The solver fits the words in.
- Number Fill, the same fitting puzzle with numbers instead of words, so there is nothing to read.
- Block Fill, a finished crossword sliced into small square blocks and shuffled. The solver rebuilds it from a handful of anchor letters.
- Number Block Fill, the block puzzle with digits. Pure shape logic: the digits are markers, nothing more.
