Cream three-column diagram — PDF/interior labeled Standard static exports, Interactive web play only, and Productivity Customer JSON, no software UI

JSON player vs PDF-only puzzle SKUs

Three deliverables get sold as if they were one. A print PDF. A playable board on a website. A JSON data file for someone else’s app. They are not the same listing, and they do not come from the same licence line.

This page owns that split. It is not a render tutorial and not an embed how-to. Multi-format PDF / images / PowerPoint owns print-format renders of one composition. Interactive puzzle embed owns the embed category. Print plus playable sample owns pairing print with play. Stay here when the question is which SKU sells which file.

Three deliverables, two licences

PDF / interior / printable pack is the print job. KDP Look Inside, an Etsy ZIP, a TPT page — unsolved puzzles on paper or in a download. The module’s base paid edition covers that lane (Standard when you need a tier word — static exports: JPG, PNG, SVG, print PDF, PowerPoint). Creative is design and Studio, not static print output.

Web play is Interactive. An embeddable player. Hosted try-a-board. Interactive unlocks web play only. It does not unlock Customer JSON as a deliverable.

Customer JSON / JSON export is Productivity. Data files for the buyer’s own apps and workflows — catalog and grid payloads they can consume. JSON is named on the Productivity line. It is not an Interactive feature.

Do not sell JSON under an Interactive edition name. Do not tell a shopper that “Interactive” means they get the data files. Editions framing lives on the editions page.

Cream three listing rows — print listing, play page, and JSON data listing — each with its own promise

Which listing sells which

A print listing sells the PDF or pack. The sample is unsolved pages. Format variants of the same assembled book stay on the multi-format article.

A play listing or funnel page sells the on-site experience. Interactive is the licence that unlocks the player. The embed category and the print+play pairing cover how that looks next to a book.

A JSON / data listing sells files for builders. Productivity. Say so. Never tuck “JSON export” under Creative Interactive or Productivity Interactive as if Interactive were the source of the data.

There’s a lot more to Puzzle Maker Pro

Time Saver is batch production, not JSON. Puzzle Slides are not Interactive web play. Interactive PDF books from the book builders are book-builder output, not the Interactive add-on. Those distinctions stay in edition rules; this page only keeps print, play, and JSON from collapsing into one SKU story.

Commercial rights for the books and packs you generate are part of the Puzzle Maker Pro license, as stated on the homepage.

The whole point

Sell print as print. Sell web play under Interactive. Sell Customer JSON under Productivity. Three deliverables — do not put JSON on the Interactive line.
