Puzzle Maker Pro Editions

Summary: Puzzle Maker Pro comes in three editions — Lite, Creative, and Publisher — plus an optional Interactive add-on. The editions are a ladder for how much you can make and assemble; the add-on is a separate choice for whether your puzzles move (interactive PDFs, PowerPoint slides, and web-playable games). This page explains what each one unlocks so you can pick the right fit.

Overview

Every Puzzle Maker Pro module is built the same way, so the editions mean the same thing across the whole range. Think of it as one simple ladder plus one optional upgrade:

  • The ladder — Lite → Creative → Publisher — is about scale and control: how freely you can style a puzzle and how much of a book you can assemble. Each rung includes everything below it.
  • The Interactive add-on is about format: it turns your puzzles into interactive files and web-playable games. It attaches to Creative or Publisher, and you buy it per module — only for the puzzles you want to make interactive.

A free Demo lets you try any module before you buy. Not every module offers all three editions — some skip Lite — and a module’s exact contents (which shapes, which variants) are listed on that module’s product page. This page covers what the editions mean in general.

The last row is the add-on, not a fourth edition: it attaches to Creative or Publisher (the two columns where it’s marked). More on it below.

Demo — Try Before You Buy

Every module has a free Demo so you can see exactly how it works before spending anything. The Demo makes real puzzles with the real generator; the only limits are that output is watermarked and you make one puzzle at a time. It’s there to answer “is this the puzzle I want?” — when the answer is yes, any paid edition removes the watermark and the one-at-a-time limit.

Lite — Make the Puzzle

Lite is the entry edition: create the core puzzle, export it in every static format (JPG, PNG, SVG, print PDF, PowerPoint), and turn a batch into an Instant Puzzle Book — a quick, ready-to-print book where every puzzle shares one set of settings you choose up front. It’s the right pick if you want clean, sellable puzzles and simple uniform books without fine-tuning every page.

Creative — Make It Yours

Creative is the design edition. It adds full control over how the puzzle looks — colors, fonts, lines, and all of the shapes and variants a module offers — and it unlocks Puzzle Book Studio for a single puzzle set: real control over titles, page numbers, layout, margins, and trim size, so the book is yours end to end rather than a fixed template. Choose Creative when the look matters and you’re building one polished book or product at a time.

Publisher — Produce at Scale

Publisher is the production edition, built for people making puzzle books to sell (KDP, Etsy, and the like). It adds the two things volume publishers need:

  • Time Saver — batch-generate many puzzles in one pass instead of one at a time.
  • Puzzle Book Studio, unlimited — combine multiple puzzle sets and mix puzzle types into a single book, with the same full layout control Creative gives a single set.

If you’re producing catalogs, variety packs, or mixed-type books at any real volume, Publisher is the edition that scales with you.

The Interactive Add-On — Make Your Puzzles Move

Everything above produces static puzzles — printed pages, PDFs, images, slides that don’t respond. The Interactive add-on unlocks the dynamic versions of your outputs, all in one purchase:

  • Interactive PDF (iPDF) — a PDF the reader can fill in and interact with, not just print.
  • Puzzle Slides — interactive PowerPoint you can play right inside a presentation.
  • Online Play — publish your puzzles as web-playable games (JSON / HTML), solvable in any browser on phone, tablet, or desktop — ideal for websites, lead capture, and digital products.

It’s an add-on rather than an edition because interactivity is a separate choice from scale: a print-only seller may never need it, while someone building web games may want it without paying for batch tools. So it attaches to Creative or Publisher — whichever ladder rung suits you — and you buy it per module, only for the puzzles you actually want to make interactive.
Note: actual capabilities differ per puzzle type, for some puzzles the Interactive PDF and Puzzle Slides don’t make sense.

Static vs Interactive: What Each Output Looks Like

A helpful way to see where the add-on fits: every output format ships in a flat version with your edition, and where a dynamic version exists, that’s what the Interactive add-on unlocks.

FormatFlat version — included with any paid editionInteractive version — Interactive add-on

PDFPrint PDF ✓Interactive PDF (iPDF)

So “PDF” and “PowerPoint” are always included — it’s the interactive PDF and the playable slides that come with the add-on. Web play is the one output that only exists in interactive form.

Choosing Your Edition

  • Just exploring? Start with the free Demo.
  • Want clean puzzles and simple uniform books? Lite.
  • Care about the look and want full control of one book at a time? Creative.
  • Selling puzzle books at volume (KDP / Etsy), mixing sets and types? Publisher.
  • Selling interactive PDF or PowerPoint products, or running web/lead-generation puzzle games? Add Interactive on top of Creative or Publisher.

Your module’s product page shows which of these editions it offers and exactly what’s inside each one.

A Note for Existing Customers

We’re aligning older products to this edition structure, and no existing license loses anything in the process. Every current license keeps every capability it already had. Where an older purchase already included a feature that now lives under Publisher or the Interactive add-on, that capability stays unlocked on your account at no extra cost — we carry it over for you as part of the transition. You’d only ever pay the new add-on price for something you didn’t already own. The edition labels are being tidied up; your access is not shrinking.

Outcome

You know what each Puzzle Maker Pro edition unlocks: Lite to make puzzles and simple books, Creative to design them fully and build one polished book, and Publisher to produce at scale with Time Saver and unlimited mixed books — with the optional Interactive add-on turning any of it into interactive PDFs, playable slides, and web games. Pick the ladder rung that matches how much you’re making, and add Interactive when you want your puzzles to move.
