Jigsaw Sudoku Puzzle Books for KDP

A Jigsaw Sudoku interior is classic fill-in with the boxes replaced. Each row, each column, and each irregular region holds 1 through N once. In Look Inside that is the whole difference from another sudoku book: the bold lines do not make a stack of 3×3 squares.

That is the whole Look Inside test. If the sample opens on regular boxes, you have listed the wrong product. Sudoku 9×9 is the box book. This one is the region book.

Jigsaw Sudoku is the generator. This article is the KDP listing: what the shopper sees, how long the file is, and why the first pages cannot look like classic sudoku or a cut-out picture jigsaw. Jigsaw Squares is the paper cut-out. How-to for that product is already written; a play guide and a generate walkthrough for Jigsaw Sudoku are not live on the site yet — do not send readers to a create URL or a how-to-play URL.

What Look Inside has to show

On Amazon the first interior pages are the pitch. A sample that opens on a copyright brick or a standard 3×3-box grid has already lost.

Show a real jigsaw page: an N×N grid, some digits already given, thick borders that snake into irregular regions. The usual printed look is a 180-degree-symmetric map — the shapes on the bottom-right echo the top-left. That is the classic jigsaw-sudoku page. A free-form map is a different look, not a different rule.

Color in the regions if you want the shapes to read at thumbnail size. Adjacent regions do not share a fill. Line-only pages work when the region borders are bold enough to survive a compressed Look Inside. A pale 1-pixel line will look like another 9×9.

The board is 6×6 or 9×9. A book that visibly climbs can open on a 6×6 and move to 9×9. Difficulty is also how sparse the givens are, not a bigger label on the same page. Every published board has one solution.

Print the rules once, short, on page one. Do not turn the sample into a how-to-play chapter. The play guide is not live; the rules that matter for the listing stay here: rows, columns, and the irregular regions.

The solution page is part of the interior. The answer is the filled grid, with the same region map. Not a leftover folder of images.

Page count is the product

Each puzzle is a pair: the jigsaw page plus the filled key. Page count is those pairs, not a pile of empty grids. A thirty-pair 6×6 warm-up and a hundred-pair 9×9 climb are different royalties and different Look Insides.

A series is easier here than it looks. Same region family, different given-density, optional region color. The shopper who opens the first one knows what the next two are.

Puzzle Book Studio is the assembly step for trim, heads, and the key section. Instant Puzzle Books is the fast PDF. Do not turn this page into a Studio tutorial.

The four-channel map is the product-form article. A short Etsy pack (jigsaw-sudoku-printables-etsy) or a TPT worksheet (tpt-jigsaw-sudoku-worksheets) is a cut of the same board, not the KDP PDF with a new filename.

What not to sell this as

Do not sell it as classic sudoku with a new cover. The category may be sudoku. The page is irregular regions.

Do not sell it as a picture jigsaw. Jigsaw Squares printable activity pages is that listing.

Do not sell it as a cage-sum grid. The clues are givens and region shapes, not printed totals.

Do not sell this listing as a website game. Online play is a live path on newest Puzzle Maker Pro modules — JSON/HTML for the WordPress plugin or a self-hosted player. A Jigsaw Sudoku play page is coming with the product. The Amazon product is still the print interior. See the editions page. That extra is online-playable-jigsaw-sudoku.

Commercial rights for books on KDP are part of the Puzzle Maker Pro license as stated on the homepage. That is not a substitute for Amazon’s content rules.

The whole point

A Jigsaw Sudoku KDP book is an interior whose first pages show irregular regions, not 3×3 boxes. Show a real region map in Look Inside, climb by size and givens, pair every page with a filled key, and leave the cut-out picture jigsaws to Jigsaw Squares.
