🛠 Preparation
Before you start:
- This module requires Puzzle Maker Pro version 2025.5 or later
- Open Puzzle Maker Pro and select Sudoku Pick and Place from the puzzle dropdown.
- Set your output folder in the Output Settings tab.

✅ Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Select Your Grid Size
Choose between 4×4, 6×6, or 9×9 sudoku.
- 4×4 and 6×6 are ideal for younger users or educational content.
- 9×9 includes seven built-in difficulty levels.

2. Positioning the Tile Set (Cut-and-Place Area)
Configure the Tile Set option to generate a separate area with the missing symbols.
You can also choose:
- Position: Top, bottom, left, or right of the puzzle.
- Contents: Show all missing symbols or just one of each (e.g. only numbers 1 to 4).

3. Choose Symbol Type and Range
Pick the type of symbols used in the puzzle:
- Numbers (default 1–9)
- Letters (A–Z or any language)
- Roman Numerals
- Colors
You can:
- Set a custom range (e.g. numbers 10–99)
- Limit to the first N from the range (e.g. 1–6)
- Use random N — e.g. six symbols chosen randomly from a larger range like 1–100

This powerful randomization lets each puzzle have a fresh look while still being solvable.

4. Preview Your Puzzle
Click the Next Preview button to see the puzzle, solution, and tile set in action.
You can switch between:
- Puzzle only
- Solution only
- Both

5. Save Your Puzzle
Once you’re happy with the result:
- Use Save Preview to save your current puzzle manually.
- Or click Create to generate and save multiple puzzles using current settings.

🎉 Outcome
You’ve now created your first Sudoku Pick and Place puzzle — complete with a print-friendly cut-and-place tile set, symbol randomization, and previewed styling.
