This quick-start tutorial shows you how to create your first Math Maze puzzle in just a few clicks — no setup required. Ideal for beginners, hobbyists, educators, or anyone curious about math-based logic puzzles.

- Puzzle Maker Pro – Math Maze
- (Optional) Time Saver for Math Maze (paid add-on for bulk puzzle generation)
🔧 Preparation
Before you begin:
- Make sure Puzzle Maker Pro is installed and activated.
- Open the app and select Puzzle Type → Math → Math Maze.
🪜 Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Select the Math Maze Module
In the top-left menu, select Math Maze from the Puzzle Type dropdown.

2. Use the Default Settings
The module opens with smart defaults. You can create your first puzzle immediately.
- Grid: 3 rows × 3 columns of equations
- Operators:
+
and–
enabled - Equation/Outcome range: 1–20
- Result area: enabled (here shown at the right of puzzle, default is bottom)
- Visuals: ready-to-go styling (start/finish circles, clear grid, etc.)

3. Click “Create” to Generate Your Puzzle
Just click Next Preview in the bottom-left corner. a new math maze puzzle appears instantly in the preview area.

This puzzle includes:
- Math-based logic flow
- Circular equation cells
- A Result box showing the final value
- Start and finish points highlighted
4. Save or Export Your Puzzle
To save your puzzle:
- Go to the Output Settings tab
- Choose an output format:
PNG
,JPG
,SVG
, orPDF
- Use the folder settings to control file naming and storage
- Click Save Preview or Create again to generate final files

Note: You can click “Open Project Folder” on the Tools tab to quickly find the project folder in Windows Explorer.
To create a full puzzle book, visit the Instant Puzzle Books tab and export to PDF or PowerPoint with margins and layout presets.
