Verifying Word Lists for Better Results in Wordoku
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to use the Verify Word List feature in Puzzle Maker Pro – Wordoku. This tool helps you avoid frustration by checking which words in your list can actually be used with your current puzzle settings.
✨ What You’ll Need
- Puzzle Maker Pro – Wordoku
- A word list (typed, pasted, or loaded from a TXT file)
🧩 Step 1: Load Your Word List
- Go to the Puzzle Settings tab.
- Add words by typing, copy/pasting, or loading from a
.txt
file. - Optional: add descriptions using
word:description
format.
🧩 Step 2: Click Verify Word List
- In the Wordoku interface, click Verify Word List.
- The software checks each word against the current puzzle settings (grid size + puzzle mode).

🧩 Step 3: Read the Report
- The report shows:
- ✅ Words that fit and can be used.
- ❌ Words that don’t fit (e.g., wrong letter count, duplicates, phrase too short/long).
- Adjust your settings or edit the word list as needed.

🧩 Step 4: Make Adjustments
- If some words don’t fit:
- Enable Auto Fit to Grid to let the software pick a better size.
- Switch to a different mode (Creator Edition) for longer words/phrases.
- Edit your word list manually.
