With the Paths Add-On you can set the width of the path through the maze. By default the path width is 100% of the cell (cube) width, but setting it smaller (to 30-40%) will result in a maze that looks completely different.
In the Path Options tab you can set the width of the path as a percentage of the width of each cell. You can also set the color of the path, and set additional colors for the path when it’s on one of the vertical surfaces.
